We the undersigned petition Woking Borough Council to Prevent the closure of Eccher’s coffee kiosk on Woking train station. More details
More details from petition creator
The kiosk is under threat of closure due to planned station redevelopment, in the form of a new staircase. The Kiosk has been serving train commuters, hot beverages, snacks and sandwiches, for two and a half years. The Kiosk owned by local Woking resident Tom Eker and his father Robert, employs two other local residents who will loose their jobs come October 25th. Despite attempts to relocate and resize the kiosk, nothing has prevailed. With the backing of our loyal customers we are now asking the council to show their support to independent business and traders to challenge South West Trains decision to terminate the lease.
